Requirements: Must be 23 years of age, physically fit, and commit to a minimum of 2-3 weeks in Africa and able to support all your own costs, including airfare, in-country transport, and food/beverages.  Applicant must agree to policies and release forms.  An interview (phone or in-person) and three references with phone numbers for APCRO to contact are required.  You must have a passport good for at least 6 months beyond your return date and obtain any visa's required, depending on your country of residence.  U.S. and U.K. citizens do not need one at this time.  Positions are on a voluntary basis, thus there will be no financial compensation.  Due to the large number of applicants and the limited number of positions available, we recommend getting your application in quickly.  The more flexible you are with dates and locations, the better chance of selection.  We are often working in very remote areas without phone, electricity, or email. Due to the interest in this project; waiting time after acceptance may be one year or longer, so please plan ahead.
